Marites Club Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Marites Club. By creating an account or using the app you accept them, together with the Community Guidelines and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Marites Club.

Who may use Marites Club

Marites Club is only for adults aged 18 and over. You must give your true age, use one account for yourself, keep access to it secure and not pass it to anyone else. We may ask you to confirm your age and may close accounts that appear to belong to a minor.

Your content and conduct

You are responsible for what you post, send and show in your profile. You keep the rights to your content and give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, display, translate and transmit it only as needed to run the service for you and the people you communicate with. This permission ends when the content or your account is deleted, except for copies kept for a limited time for safety, legal and backup reasons as described in the Privacy Policy.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Pornography, sexual content involving minors, harassment, threats, hate, scams, spam, impersonation and sharing another person's private information are prohibited. The full rules are in the Community Guidelines. Do not try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or use it for advertising without our permission.

Moderation

Public messages and profile photos are checked automatically and may be reviewed by moderators; if the automatic check is unavailable, a new profile photo is shown and queued for a moderator instead of being refused. Any member can report and block another member. A report includes the profile of the person reported and your recent messages with them, so moderators can see what happened. We may remove content, limit features, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities. Coins, VIP and gifts

Marites Coins are a feature of the app with no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money or sold, inside or outside the app. You may give coins to another member inside the app as a gift, up to 1,000 a day; a gift of coins is final, and coins you were given cannot be passed on. Coins can be earned in the app or bought through the App Store or Google Play; they are spent on VIP status and virtual gifts. Messaging itself is free. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms; refund requests are handled by the store where you paid, and coins from a refunded purchase are removed. Prices and what coins can buy may change. If your account is closed for breaking these terms, unused coins are not compensated, except where the law requires otherwise.

Meeting other people

Marites Club does not run background checks on members and is not responsible for the behaviour of members online or offline. Be careful with personal information, never send money to people you meet in the app, and use Report and Block when something feels wrong.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Marites Club available but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change or be discontinued. The service is provided "as is", to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have as a consumer under the law of your country and that cannot be waived.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for content posted by members, or for events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for coins during the twelve months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Marites Club and delete your account at any time in Settings or through the account deletion page. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop providing the service.

Apple and Google

These terms are between you and the operator, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content and have no obligation to provide support for it. For the iPhone app, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where these terms are silent; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

Law and updates

These terms are governed by the law of Philippines, without limiting the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. We may update these terms; material changes will be published here with a new effective date, and continuing to use the app after that date means you accept them. Questions: support@maritesclub.com.
